Please,do help me out

Post by AdrianM on Wed 14 Nov 2012, 18:37

I am trying for months to get The Sims 3 working with no result.I want,as I guess alot of Sims 3 fans do,to install all the Expansions(which I already did about 2-3 months ago prior to Supernatural)but I removed all the files, due to the fact that I could not make it work no matter how hard I tried, even fallowed instructions from site,so yes I did that as well.So I'm begging for...a step by step guide?I see Seasons was realeased a few minutes ago so I want to install ALL the Expansions, even the Stuff expansions. So I would need help about how to install them,in which order would be best.I don't know, where to get the best crack from,if I must remove internet connection, the correct order to install every expansion. Please help, thank you.P.S:Sorry if I posted this in a wrong place :newfag:

Hi Adrian,

I installed all in this way

1- Base
2- World adventures
3- High end Loft
4- Ambitions
5- Fast lane Stuff
6- Late night
7- Outdoor living
8- Generations
9- Town life Stuff
10- Pets
11- Master pieces
12- Showtime
13- KP sweet treats
14- Diesel Stuff
15- Supernatural
at last patch 1.42 (manual patch here) and the fix Here
Oh... I forget : Seasons

At one point, the installation asks you a patch, the patch can be found in the following iso in the folder "support".

I cracked each extension immediately after each installation.
Follow this method carefully.

I do it, and all works.

Happy siming

I installed several times, and the way I like is the following.

1. Base
2. Patch to latest (1.42)
3. Install expansions.
4. Apply Ultimate Fix.

Patch is the second step so you don't have to update each time you install a expansion.

Just one thing I read someone saying is installing World Adventure prior to Outdoor living stuff and don't need to mess with the SKU, not sure since I always install WA prior to it anyway.

But I think you should also uninstall completely with a more powerful uninstaller then default, and run ccleaner on your registry and remove leftover registries.

For example.

There is no need to apply cracks from each of the expansions, just install all expansions you want, and then apply the Ultimate Fix.

Hello,

No need to disconnect at any point of the installation. The step-by-step can be found here: http://games4theworld.bestgoo.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly

Good luck and please let us know the result! Wink

I'm currently trying t2sink's method.I'm at Fast Lane Stuff right now.I'll try and update my progress when I'm almost at the end.Thank you all

//EDIT

And I'm done.I fallowed kytonderoga's steps by installing them in the
order she said, and used t2sink's method by using the patch after
istalling the base game. Now to finish this,do I need to use the patch
again? And please tell me(considering I installed all the expasions
except Seasons)what is the correct way to aply the cracks and the
correct order(just so I don't mess it up)also after that I guess I can
install seasons and aply the crack from there right? Also I got a
message...at 2 of the expasions that after I install them I also need to
update them because the base game is newer than the expansion.Thank you
