Hello,

I believe this is not possible with The Sims 3.
I'd recommend finding another way to make room, is there any way you can clear some space on your C drive?
Like, backup your pictures etc. and/or move downloads to another drive. You could even consider installing your game on another drive, all of that could be done without causing problems.

Hi there,

Just a side-note for the OP: doing the above will not change the default location of the saves location: Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3(\Saves)

Why do you care about that downloads folder? once you do install stuff through the launcher the files in there can be moved.

Hello,

That's true, but if The Sims 3 is also installed on C drive, uninstalling it, and reinstalling it on another drive would clear a significant amount of space on C drive.

Anyways, glad we could be of help, even if we didn't quite answer your question satifactory.
Don't hesitate to post if you have questions or problems again.
Happy simming The Sims Plumbob 1 topic closed.

Hi there,

I know you'd say that, that's why I said "side-note". Razz

Enjoy the game!
