Launching Help

Post by lotusbby on Fri Nov 30, 2012 9:46 pm

Hi guys,

So I already had the Sims 3 installed, but I lost my CD. Then I downloaded Supernatural and Seasons from here and successfully installed it. I downloaded the Mac Ultimate Fix, also.

I tried putting the crack files of the Season/Supernatural/etc into the Bin first, and it told me that I needed to insert a CD.

Then I tried putting the crack files of the Base Sims 3 game into the Bin, and it gave me "access to 0x00000000 at address 0x00000000. do you wish to debug it?" Nothing happens after I press Yes or No.

What am I doing wrong here?

From your screenshot it looks as if the crack files you used (which should be going into the /Game/Bin base directory to begin with) look like documents and not executables. Did you unzip the original fix package using Stuffit Expander?

is your game patched fully? if not, grab the Super Patcher (http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/549552.page) and update, then:

Retry doing ultimate fix and follow the given instructions to the letter. Also, unmount all of your Sims disks when you try to launch the game.

Make sure you are putting them in the right directory and overwriting the original files completely.

If after that, your game still isn't working, try bypassing the launcher and let us know what happens:
