Duuuuuuude Very Happy
I'm downloading right now!
Thanks!

...

It's goin suuuper slow haha.
140 kbps FTW!

//EDIT

Ok.. I'm addicted!
I think it's an awesome game!
Two things though:
I followed the steps and it told me to update, I clicked yes, then I repeated step 4. But for some reason the launcher doesn't work anymore? I can avoid this by clicking on the program instead of the launcher but I was wondering if more people have this?

Oh and I can't open option screen (to edit resolution etc.)

Hello,

Ok, please download this (temporary) file: www.games4theworld.org/TSMtempfix.rar

Now, drag & drop the .exe and .dll file in there to exactly: C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims Medieval\Game\Bin and choose "Replace" on the pop-up that appears, telling you the files already exist.
Now, see if the game starts correctly.

Hello,

Hmmm... I'm sure that is the problem. I can try to fix the game for you via TeamViewer. Join the Forum's chatbox when you see me online and send me a PM when you're in, so I can join.

I'm having that issue with the launcher as well, even after applying the fix. And I'm able to start the game by clicking on TSM.exe instead of SimsMedievalLauncher.exe too, but else it says: SimsMedievalLauncher has stopped working, and the program ends.

Hello,

Are you using a Mac?

I'm working on a "Ultimate Fix" for The Sims: Medieval too. Please be patient.

Yes, I am on a Mac. I've found a solution that fixed my problem. Only now, with the new update, I'm getting the disk needed pop up.

Hello,

Please download the new Medieval fix I made here: http://games4theworld.bestgoo.com/t916-the-sims-medieval-ultimate-fix-should-fix-most-of-your-problems

When done, ignore the included "# Installation Guide.txt" (Since you're using a Mac) and just do the following:

1. Open the "# Crack" folder in the .rar file and apply both files in there by navigating to: Applications, then the 'The Sims: Medieval' folder and then right-click the 'The Sims: Medieval' icon.
2. Now, click "Show package contents" and navigate to: Contents/Resources/trangaming/c_Drive/Program Files/Electronic Arts/The Sims Medieval/Game/Bin/ and choose "Replace" on the pop-up that appears, telling you the files already exist.

Good luck!

Hello,

What if you do exactly following (slightly different than previous):

1. Open the "Medieval" folder in the .rar file and apply both files in there by navigating to: Applications, then the 'The Sims: Medieval' folder and then right-click the 'The Sims: Medieval' icon.
2. Now, click "Show package contents" and navigate to: Contents/Resources/trangaming/c_Drive/Program Files/Electronic Arts/The Sims Medieval/Game/Bin/ and choose "Replace" on the pop-up that appears, telling you the files already exist.

Hello,

Then I afraid you'll need to wait for our Mac developers to come with a Mac version of the fix, because I don't know anything about Mac's.
Perhaps you could use software that converts Windows' .exe format to Mac format. I'm sure that'll fix the problem too.

Warning: The recent update can cause frequent - uncommon crashes. Until they release a fix on it, you should save very often. Most of the time, crashes will happen right after placing a new building. A thread on the official forum has been made to find the problem, but to no success.

Hello,

Then perhaps in Dutch would be easier for you:

Kies "Vervangen" of "Replace".

Kies "Vervangen" of "Replace".

8. U kunt nu alle vensters sluiten. Start het spel en... VEEL PLEZIER met spelen!
