Microsoft Office Trojan?

Post by ElizaLeraine76 on Wed 09 Jan 2013, 07:03

I wasn't necessarily sure where to put this as it wasn't exactly a download issue, but when I was in the process of installing Microsoft Office I noticed Norton popping up in the corner of my screen saying that one o the files in the rar file wasn't safe and that it had been removed. I clicked on it to see what exactly it had removed and it said that there was a trojan in the Other Activators folder. Since I don't need anything in that folder as I'm running Windows 7, I just left it be, but felt as though I should say something in case someone may have tampered with one of your torrents without your notice.

I also wanted to make sure it wasn't just Norton over reacting and if it was, let everyone know here so they didn't start raging over something that was just a misunderstanding.

Hello,

Norton does overreact a lot, that's a fact.
Remember that all Games4theworld downloads are 100% virus free and tested. If you want to be sure that the file is completely safe, only download from www.games4theworld.org and/or www.pirateproxy.net/user/games4theworld
