No CD error

Post by DavinaW on Wed 09 Jan 2013, 16:15

I just try to install some expansions for the sims 3.
I already posted a topic about how to do that but with a little searching I found the .txt file telling me how to do it.
There it says that I have to drag and drop the 2 files from the crack file to the original game file and when I try that I get the message that the 2 files already exist so as told I press the button te replace them.
Then I get an error that I have to do this as an administrator so I push the button that says to do it as an administrator. Then there comes another error on my screen that I can't do it.
But I am the administratot if this computer. I'm the only one with an account on this PC so. How do I fix this ?

Second problem : If i try to start the game it tells me that theres no CD rom in the computer from the game, wich makes sense since I downloaded it.
I have Magic ISO virtual CD/DVD manager installed on my PC so usually you use that program to mount the CD but I don't know how to do that now.

Please somebody help me. Ive been trying to install this since 10 o'clock this morning and it's still not working...
