Sims won't age up??

Post by scarletrose on Tue 15 Jan 2013, 12:33

Okay so basically in the sim tab it says "days until aging up: Never" In my game options it has aging enabled, but still say this? :-/ Idk what's gone wrong, I did have the story progression mod from Nraas, but removed it after the game got a bit laggy.. Since then I've noticed this problem (Idk if it was caused by story progression or whether I just noticed it around the same time..)

Current mods I have:
Debugenabler
Decensor
Error Trap
Master controller
mastercontroller cheats
mastercontroller intergration
overwatch
traveler
woohooer
woohooer scoring
woohooer kamasimtra
woohooer sauna
woohooer shower outdoor
plus the store fixes
no intro

Any suggestions on what could be up? :-/ it's annoying coz my sims wont age! lol

Hello,

I believe Master Controller also has an aging on/off function. Story progression does as well, but it doesn't turn aging off by default. Is it that sim/household, or have you noticed this with other sims/households as well?

Well I haven't played any other households to test, but as a test I put story progression back in game and guess what? Aging is working again, I think it might be something to do with mastercontroller turning aging off when storyprogression isn't there.

Do you know how to turn aging on/off in mastercontroller?

I think it's actually the removal of Story Progression without actually stopping everything with it first. You'll have to turn off the progression that the mod is causing in order to remove it without errors. It's not a core mod, but it does a lot of heavy scripting.

Hello,

I think you can disable the mod from any computer (or maybe city hall) in town.

I always use City Hall, just for ease of remembering, but yeah.. It should be on the first "page" of the mod settings, in General Settings. The label for it is something along the lines of "enable Progression".
